| Celebration of Life, the stainless steel sculpture designed for the Haynes Street Sculpture Park, Johnstown, Pa., as it appeared at Premier Rides, Utah. The roller coaster maker was commissioned to bend the perfect arc on the 20 foot sculpture. John designed the size of the sculpture after he, Ben Policicchio (site architect) and Jim White (City of Johnstown Community & Economic Development Director) stood under the large over head highway pylons on Haynes Street and they mutually came to the same conclusion, “it must be BIG”.The sculpture is now at the Johnstown fabricator awaiting funding for the final assembly. It will then be polished to a mirror finish and installed on a structurally engineered footer. |
